Parade Schedule & Rules

 Parade starts at 1:00 pm CT Saturday September 20st at the stop light at Peoples Bank


Leading the parade:

  • Greensburg Police Cruiser

  • Greensburg Rotary Banner

  • Honor Guard- Greensburg/Green County Fire and Rescue

  • Grand Marshals – State Rep. Ryan Bivens and the 2025 Green County High School Indoor Track and Field State Champions

  • Green County High School Marching Band

  • Walkers

Parade Rules:

  • Note: Band members, walkers, Honor Guard and Grand Marshals will line up on North Main at Peoples Bank. All other entries will line up on Bluebird Lane.

  • Participants in parade lining up on Bluebird Lane need to stop at registration table at that location and sign in between 11 am CT to noon CT.

  • The entries lining up at Peoples Bank do not need to register for parade.

  • Parade entries, namely vehicles, may not stop to distribute candy, water, or other items. Candy being distributed must not be thrown toward spectators. However, it may be given out by walkers.

  • When the band reaches the Old Courthouse on the Square, the parade will come to a complete stop and the band will play the national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner.” After its conclusion, the parade will proceed.

  • The end of the parade will be at the intersection of South Main and Columbia Ave., with participants turning left on East Columbia Avenue.

  • Everyone must be in line by 12:00 (noon) CT, with the parade entries leaving Bluebird Lane at 12:30 p.m. and proceeding up Campbellsville Road toward the traffic light on North Main (at Peoples Bank).

  • All persons driving a motorized vehicle in the parade must have a valid driver’s license and show proof at registration table (Bluebird Lane) to parade coordinator.

  • No animals will be allowed in the parade for safety reasons.

  • Tractor Show entries wanting to be in the parade must proceed down South Main and turn right on West Columbia Avenue, then turn right on South First Street and proceed to stop sign at West Hodgenville Avenue. From there, turn right on West Hodgenville Avenue down to the traffic light on North Main. Next, turn on to North Main at Peoples Bank and travel up Campbellsville Road to the intersection at KY 61 and Industrial Park Road, turning left and traveling to Bluebird Lane on the left in order to register and line up.

  • Car Show entries must travel up North First Street, turn left on West Hodgenville Road, travel to Old Hodgenville Road, proceeding to Highway 61. Make a right hand turn on KY 61, travel to Bluebird Lane on the right in order to register and line up.

  • Tractor and Car Show participants in the parade must sign a waiver form with their show’s coordinator.
