PARADE SCHEDULE AND RULES
Parade starts at 1:00 pm CT Saturday September 21st, at the stop light at Peoples Bank
Leading the parade:
Greensburg Police Cruiser
Greensburg Rotary Banner
Honor Guard-Green Co./Greensburg Fire & Rescue
Green County Marching Band-will stop at Historical Courthouse to play National Anthem
Grand Marshall-Track Team
Grand Marshall-Middle School Cheerleaders
Walkers
Note: band members and walkers need to be at the Peoples Bank parking lot (next to white house at noon)
Floats, decorated vehicles, commercial vehicles and political candidates line up on Blue Bird Lane for parade (see signs)
These participants need to stop at registration table (marked) to sign in for parade between 11:00am CT and Noon CT
EMS, Rescue, Fire Dept. Police, do not have to register to be in parade
ATV's, 4 Wheelers, Bicycles, Motorcycles, Antique Cars, and Tractors will line up at stop light on West Hodgenville Ave. (Presbyterian Church)
They will join the parade at different intervals by a parade committee member stationed at the corner.
Do not stop your vehicle to distribute candy, water or other items, only walkers alongside may do so, for safety reasons.
Everyone must be in line by 12:00 (noon) CT, the parade will start leaving Blue Bird Lane at 12:30pm CT moving toward town
All persons driving a motorized vehicle in parade must have a valid drivers license and show proof at registration table (Blue Bird Ln) and at (W. Hodgenville Ave) to parade coordinator.
No animals will be allowed in the parade for safety reasons.
